ZMP INC., believes that a robot is the most suitable hands-on material for learning basic engineering ideas for students in such disciplines as mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, control engineering, information engineering among others.
Humanoids attract a great deal of attention, and so with the ZMP e-NUVO series. ZMP is looking forward to contributing most effectively to the teaching and learning of fundamental engineering skills through its four types of robots (BASIC, ARM, WHEEL, and WALK). This series include not only these advanced robots but also practical textbooks so that instructors and students can immediately use their robots in class.

How e-nuvo arm can help you
In order to develop bipedal walking robots as well as industrial arm robots, it is indispensable to use link structure analysis (kinematics) as well as design using CAD. With an arm robot the student can apply what they have learned using e-nuvo BASIC to link structures similar to the ones used in e-nuvo WALK's legs. Our textbooks cover not only mathematical concepts such as interpolating or kinematics applying linear algebra, but also strength analysis and part design using 3D CAD.
