ControlDesk is the central module of our experiment software, and is a very convenient way of managing and instrumenting your experiments.
- Integrated Simulink® interface for offline management of your controller models
- Operator version as the graphical interface for predefined experiments
- Extended options for automation
- Interface to common version management systems
Right from the start of experimenting, ControlDesk performs all the necessary experimenting tasks. With ControlDesk installed, you will benefit from using the same experiment environment throughout the various stages. Whatever the task – the creation of a complete experiment environment with virtual instrument panels or the editing of parameter sets and automation functions – ControlDesk is always the right choice.
ControlDesk is very easy to use, thanks to its consistent Windows look and feel. You can design your experiment interface by drag & drop, and utilize features such as context menus and floating windows, to name just two. On top of that, there is comprehensive online help to support your work with ControlDesk.
Besides the Experiment Manager and the Platform Manager, ControlDesk comes with an instrumentation set, the Parameter Editor and basic automation features. Using the integrated Simulink interface, you can test your controller models offline. The transition from Simulink to the dSPACE real-time world and back is absolutely transparent, as you can use the same virtual instruments, parameter sets and automated test loops.
