TargetLink is a software system that generates production code (C code) straight from the MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow graphical development environment. Code generation options range from plain ANSI C code to optimised fixed or floating point code for certain processors. TargetLink 2.3, the latest version of dSPACE’s autocoder for generating production code from MATLAB®/Simulink®/Stateflow® models, supports the AUTOSAR 2.1 standard. This reflects AUTOSAR’s increasing significance in the development of automotive electronics. TargetLink’s optimisation and analysis functions have been further improved to make the ECU code it generates more efficient than ever. For maximum flexibility in project work, TargetLink 2.3 supports four different MATLAB releases: R2006a+, R2006b, R2007a+ and R2007b. Users do not have to change their TargetLink version after performing a MATLAB upgrade, or change the MATLAB version after a TargetLink upgrade.
